The crew gets Foreman. The owner gets Foreman HQ.

Both share one sign-in and one set of records. A job keeps the same number from the quote to the invoice, and nothing the crew sees carries a price.

Checklists

Finish is locked until the checklist is done

Every required item on every attached checklist has to be answered before a job can be marked finished, on the phone or the website, in any role.

Equipment

The welder carries its own setup

Enter the material and thickness on the job and the wire, gas, polarity, voltage and wire speed come from that unit's setup chart. The app never guesses a number the chart does not give.

Service

Service schedules itself

When an oil change or a filter comes due, it lands in the assigned person's next open hour with the steps, fluids and part numbers from the manual. Short a part? It goes on the pickup list first.

Money

Nothing moves without an approval

Claude sets things up, drafts, runs and reminds. It never approves, files or pays. Card numbers, bank logins and Social Security numbers are never stored in the apps.

Every automation is behind a switch

Briefs, call notes, receipt reading, the weekly reconcile and the payroll run can each be turned on or off. Every action is logged with an Undo.

One number, quote to invoice

A check-out visit becomes a quote, the quote becomes a job, the job becomes an invoice, and the checklists, photos and documents follow it the whole way.

Who makes it

Made by a contractor, for the ones who run one

Foreman LLC was started by Nicolas Bliss, the owner of Bliss Construction AK, a general contractor and overhead door company in Fairbanks, Alaska. The company runs on a scheduling app, an accounting program, a payroll service, spreadsheets and a phone full of photos, none of which talk to each other.

Foreman is the one program meant to replace that stack: the crew's day on the phone, the owner's money on the desk, and Claude in between doing the paperwork a small company never has time for.
