Who we are

This website

The website is a set of pages with no accounts, no forms and no advertising. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It is served through Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the site running; we do not use those logs to identify visitors. The page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's request for the font files.

If you email us, we keep the email and our reply for as long as we need them to answer you. If you ask to be told when the app is available, we keep your email address for that one purpose and delete it when you ask.

The apps

Foreman and Foreman HQ are in development. They are being used by one company under a team beta and are not yet available to the public. This section describes how they handle data now and how they will at release; it will be updated before the App Store release.

Whose data it is

The apps are used by companies. Each company's records belong to that company and are kept apart from every other company's. The company's owner decides who on the team can see what. Foreman LLC processes those records to run the apps and does not sell them, rent them, or use them for advertising.

What the apps collect

• Account details: your name, work email, mobile number, role and the company you belong to, so you can sign in and be shown the right screens.
• Company records you and your team enter: jobs, schedules, customers and their contact details, checklists and their answers, photos and documents attached to jobs, time cards, vehicles and equipment, inventory, quotes, invoices, receipts, bank statement lines, bills and payroll records.
• Device information: the device model, operating system version, app version and a push-notification token, used to deliver notifications and to diagnose crashes.
• Diagnostics: crash reports and error logs, which do not include your company's records.

The apps do not track your location in the background. Location is used only for features you turn on and only while you are using them.

What is never stored in the apps

Full card numbers (only the last four digits are kept), bank passwords, routing and account numbers, Social Security numbers, and direct-deposit details. Those are held by the payment, bank-data and payroll partners below, which are licensed to hold them, and are entered by you with those partners, not in Foreman HQ.

Partners that process data for the apps

• Hosting and database: the company database, files and photos are stored with a cloud database provider in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up daily.
• Payments: customer payments by card or bank debit are processed by a payment processor under its own terms and privacy policy; Foreman receives the amount, the status and the last four digits.
• Bank feeds: read-only statement lines are supplied by a bank-data provider you connect your accounts to; the connection is made with the provider, and Foreman never sees your bank login.
• Payroll: payroll is calculated, filed and paid by a licensed payroll partner, which holds employees' tax and direct-deposit details.
• Texts and email: text messages and transactional emails are sent through messaging providers, which see the phone number or email address and the message.
• Claude: features such as the morning brief, call notes, receipt reading and the weekly reconcile are powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. The text those features need is sent to Anthropic's API under commercial terms that do not permit its use to train models. Each of these features is behind a switch the company's owner controls, and every action they take is logged and can be undone.
• Apple: sign-in with Apple, push notifications and app distribution through the App Store and TestFlight are provided by Apple under its terms.

We share data with these partners only as needed to provide the feature you are using, and with no one else, except where the law requires it or to protect the safety of a person or the apps.

Call recording

Foreman HQ can attach notes to phone calls that the owner records on their own iPhone using Apple's built-in call recording, which announces the recording to both parties. Foreman does not record calls itself. Recording laws differ by state; the person recording is responsible for complying with them.

Keeping and deleting data

A company's records are kept for as long as the company keeps its account, because they are the company's books. Each person can delete their own account from inside the app. The company's owner can delete the whole company from Settings: the records are exported to the owner first, the partner connections are disconnected, and the records are removed from our systems within 30 days, apart from copies in backups, which expire on their own schedule, and records we are required by law to keep. During the beta, send deletion requests to support@foremanhq.app from the address on the account.

Your choices

You can see and correct your own account details in the app. You can turn notifications off on your phone. A company's owner can turn each Claude feature off. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted; we answer within 30 days.

Security

Connections to the apps are encrypted. Data is encrypted where it is stored. Owners and accountants sign in with two-factor authentication. Every approval that moves money is logged with who approved it and when.

Children

The website and the apps are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it and, once the apps are released, users are told in the app before the change takes effect. This version is the first, dated September 27, 2026.
